Teaching...

Today I was teaching a class...they are 7 and 8 yo's. I have four girls and one boy that I usually teach. Today I only had three girls and the one boy. Well, we were reading an english book and I don't know what had happened, but I look up from the book in time to see one of the girls just sock the boy in the face. I don't know what transpired...but ouch!! Poor kid. I made her go out of my class for about five minutes. I told them all that If I see anyone punching or hitting in my class it's an automatic go out of the class...no warnings! Haha, I don't think they believed me. Oh, the joys and frustrations of teaching kids. How to have more patience??
